WHERE WE WORK

North-West Cambodia

There is widespread and growing inequality within Cambodia. We are now working where educational inequality is greatest – in districts of Srei Snam and Kralanh in Northern Siem Reap and Ek Phnom in Eastern Battambang. These are regions where access to quality education is lowest and achievement of Minimum Proficiency Levels (MPLs) is poorest.

Rural North-West Cambodia is one of the most disadvantaged areas in the country. With students spending an average of just 3.7 years at school in Siem Reap province, compared to 8.7 in the nations capital- Phnom Penh, this region truly needs support. With collective support, we can help to bring up this region, minimising this regional inequality.

We seek to work with communities to create pockets of educational success within these areas and to Raise the Bar to lift expectations and aspirations.
