Once you have taken care of your friends and family in your will, you may wish to leave a legacy to a cause that means a lot to you.
Leaving a gift in your will is an incredible way to make a huge difference to the future of a charity that you care about.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, access to a quality education is growing in parts of Cambodia. Children living in the areas where SeeBeyondBorders work now have a chance to improve their learning and life outcomes, creating a new path for their futures and that of their families and communities. Education begets change.
Gifts in Wills make an incredible difference to our organisation; they allow us to continue to grow our impact in Cambodia, extending our reach, training more teachers and improving the learning outcomes for children in the classrooms. Your legacy gift will empower us to ensure all of the change that needs to occur in Cambodian education is Cambodian-led, working in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports to create sustainable systemic change.
A gift in your will, no matter the amount, supports Cambodian children achieving their potential and living full lives as equal and valued global citizens.
By leaving a gift in your will to SeeBeyondBorders Ireland, you are supporting a generation of Cambodian children that depend on us to create their change. We support the upskilling of Cambodian teachers so that children can stay at school and improve their learning outcomes. A gift in your will give a Cambodian child a better future, now and accross generations to come.
Your solicitor will provide guidance on how to write or update your will and how you can include a gift to the SeeBeyondBorders Ireland. You can find a solicitor in your local area by visiting the Law Society of Ireland’s website.
If you are interested in supporting SeeBeyondBorders Ireland with a gift in your will, we would love to hear from you. To discuss legacy giving in confidence and learn more about how leaving a gift in your will change the lives of a Cambodian child please contact ireland@seebeyondborders.org
We appreciate that making a will is a deeply personal matter, and as such all conversations are treated with the utmost discretion.
Gifts given in memory of a loved one are a special way to honour them and support the values, beliefs and causes that meant a lot to them during their life.
Many families request that donations be made in lieu of flowers. You can let family and friends know about your decision in the death notice of your loved one by requesting that, if desired, a donation can be made in their memory to SeeBeyondBorders Ireland on our donation page.
You may wish to hold your own fundraising event in memory of your loved one. There are many ways to fundraise, such as holding a coffee morning or sponsored walk. Events such as this can be a way to bring family and friends together to celebrate the life and memory of your loved one.
If you are interested in holding a fundraising event for SeeBeyondBorders Ireland in memory of a loved one, we are happy to help. Please contact ireland@seebeyondborders.org to discuss with a member of our Fundraising team on how best we can support you and your event.
